Volunteer with BRWC/FOB

Be part of the Riverlution!

At the Blackstone River Watershed Council/Friends of the Blackstone, volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s pulling trash from the river, monitoring water quality, removing invasive plants, or assisting with programming, your time and energy make a direct impact on the health of our river and our communities.

Every hand helps. Together, we’ve removed over 25,000 tires from critical areas of the watershed and cleaned up countless tons of debris. With your help, we can do even more.

Why Volunteer?

  • Protect and restore the Blackstone River and its watershed
  • Gain hands-on environmental experience
  • Connect with others who care about our local environment
  • Fulfill community service requirements (students welcome!)
  • See the direct difference you make in your community

Our mission is bigger than any one person. By volunteering, you’re helping us protect the Blackstone River today and ensure a healthier watershed for generations to come.
