The BRWC/FOB has offered to partner with the Town of Cumberland to help restore the Heritage Park back to its original look. BRWC/FOB has been maintaining the park over the years by removing trash, trimming brush and trees and generally keeping an eye on it. Recently, we discovered clothing and other items that indicated someone was living in the park and we notified authorities to see if they could offer the person(s) assistance. This park is on our volunteer list and we have people sign up to help all the time. Recently, two of our board members, Randy Tuomisto and Frank Matta attended a Town Council meeting to discuss the park.
