Sycamore Landing…A place where fun meets adventure
The Blackstone River Watershed Council/Friends of the Blackstone continues to grow. Our mission to protect the Blackstone River is done through advocacy, education and community involvement.
Our Environmental Center, fondly known as Sycamore Landing, sits on approximately 12 acres of land with direct access to the Blackstone River. From here, we launch canoe and kayaking adventures as well as river cleanups. During the year, we host full-moon paddles, wildlife river safaris and many other programs designed to get people on the river.
This year we completed the south wing, a large classroom-style education / conference room where we host workshops, speakers and educational programs. A dedication ceremony was held in May. See photos on our BRWC Moments page.
