TWO DAY Clean-up of the Elder Ballou Meeting House Cemetery

We will be hosting a TWO-DAY clean-up of the Elder Ballou Meeting House Cemetery located in Cumberland, RI. The FIRST DAY is Saturday April 6 from 1-5 PM. The SECOND DAY is Sunday April 7 from 9-1 PM. Meet at the cemetery.
General weed and grass trimming, raking leaves, brush and trash removal is needed. The BRWC/FOB has maintained this cemetery in the past for at least 12 years. Many volunteers are needed. Parking in this area is very limited, so carpooling to the site is encouraged.
Gloves and bags and some tools will be supplied. Volunteers may bring their own tools if they wish. Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants, use of bug spray is suggested. Water will be supplied. This event is being held in coordination with the RI Historical Cemeteries Awareness and Preservation Weeks 2024.
